TV Ratings: Harry On '60 MInutes' Watched By 10.5M+

Prince Harry to sit down with Anderson Cooper draws nearly 10.52M US viewers 60 minutes on Sunday, according to early Nielsen data.

The early numbers can certainly be seen as a win for CBS and 60 minutes, which was 16% above his season-to-date average. But that pales in comparison to the 17.1M people who watched the live broadcast of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, which also aired on CBS.

It’s fair to note that the couple’s sit-down with Oprah was the first time they’ve spoken publicly about the experiences that led them away from the royal family, which they’ve now done several times. It attracted several million more viewers in the three days following the interview, so even delayed viewing may have sufficed in this case.

On social media, the interview garnered the largest number of impressions of the season since its September premiere, with 923M (compared to 1.6B social impressions for the season debut).
