Jacobs Webinar Bringing CES To You
If you weren’t one of the 115,000 attendees of the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week, Jacobs Media is bringing the event to you. On Thursday, January 19 at 2pm EST, Fred Jacobs will provide a fast-paced summary of the new technology that will impact our lives and the radio industry in the coming years. The webinar is free and open to everyone in the broadcasting industry.
“While the entire world slowed down due to the pandemic, the trajectory of new technology didn’t,” notes Jacobs Media President Fred Jacobs. “We were amazed by the advancement in technology like artificial intelligence and the further evolution of entertainment and content in vehicles. But it’s also noteworthy that the relationships between companies and consumers are changing, as traditional companies like Samsung and the automakers are moving to subscription models. Lots of changes happening, and we’ll try to include them all into a fast-paced presentation.”
“This is our fourteenth CES and it’s more important than ever for broadcasters to attend this event,” Jacobs Media Vice President/General Manager Paul Jacobs notes. “Radio isn’t immune from the impact of new technology, and the only way to truly understand where the opportunities lie is to attend this event.”
For the fifth year, close to three dozen broadcasters joined Jacobs Media on a private, curated tour of CES. During the tour, they visited displays from Amazon Alexa Auto, Mercedes Benz, Microsoft, Stellantis, Xperi, and even a flying car from Ryse.
CES was held January 5-8 in Las Vegas. The world’s largest conference was located throughout the city, including the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Venetian, the Venetian Expo Center, and the Aria Hotel.
