Midsouth Radio: iHM Promotes Ronnie Bloodworth To Area President

iHeartMedia announced that Ronnie Bloodworth has been promoted to Area President of the Midsouth Area, which encompasses Alabama, Mississippi, and Memphis.

As Area President of the Midsouth area, he will add oversight to his portfolio of stations and be responsible for all operations across the Birmingham, Gadsden, Huntsville, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa markets. Bloodworth will also continue to oversee the Biloxi, Hattiesburg, Jackson, Laurel, Memphis, Mobile, Pensacola, and Tupelo. He will continue to report to Shosh Abromovich, Division President for iHeartMedia.

Bloodworth is a 25-year media veteran. He joined iHeartMedia in 1998. He oversaw the sales teams for the Mobile Market for 15 years before becoming the Market President for Mobile, Biloxi and Pensacola. He was recently elected on the board of Alabama Broadcasters Association.
