Portland Radio: Geoff Owens Joins Alpha Media As Programmer

Alpha Media announced the appointment of Geoff Owens as Hip Hop WE 102.9 Content Director and KBFF Live 95.5 Assistant Content / Music Director.

Owens will oversee Programming for KINK-HD2 / WE 102.9 and will report to Portland Operations Manager Gene Sandbloom, Market Manager Lisa Decker and EVP of Content Phil Becker.

Sandbloom shares, “Geoff is not only a huge asset to both We 102.9 and Live 95.5, but he brings to Portland a toolkit of skills that we use across all of our Alpha stations. Embracing a ‘can do’ attitude on whatever project he is given, he is a most-welcomed addition to our team.”

Owens comes to Alpha directly from KDUK as Program Director and PM Drive Host in Eugene. Prior to that, Owens refined his programming, hosting and social media skills at KXJM (Portland), KKRZ (Portland) & KUBE (Seattle).
