FOX Sports Announces New Lead Broadcast Team

FOX Sports – the most-watched NFL network – names three-time NFL Pro Bowler Greg Olsen as this season’s lead NFL analyst, joining renowned play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt in the booth. Veteran reporters Erin Andrews and Tom Rinaldi, along with trailblazing rules expert Mike Pereira, round out the team as they prepare for the network’s top regular and postseason games – culminating with FOX’s 10th all-time Super Bowl presentation.

“We’re thrilled to have this team steward our industry leading and award-winning coverage as we embark on our 29th NFL season, highlighted by our 10th Super Bowl,” said FOX Sports President of Production/Operations and Executive Producer Brad Zager. “Last season, Kevin and Greg showed viewers their undeniable chemistry and ability to call football at an elite level. We can’t wait for fans to see what they’re going to bring to AMERICA’S GAME OF THE WEEK, the NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl LVII.”

Olsen was tapped by FOX Sports in 2021 to become the network’s No. 2 NFL game analyst, embarking on his rookie season alongside Burkhardt. The pair garnered high praise for their work and chemistry – a relationship that dates back nearly two decades to Olsen’s playing days at Wayne Hills High School. Burkhardt, at the time with WGHT, called a few of Olsen’s games and worked closely alongside his father, the team’s coach, to break down film. The New Jersey natives also previously crossed paths in 2017 when Olsen became the third active player in FOX’s history to serve as a game analyst.

Although Burkhardt and Olsen are no strangers to the NFL’s championship game – Burkhardt having previously called three Super Bowl world feeds and Olsen serving as an NFL studio analyst for FOX Sports’ coverage of Super Bowl LIV in Miami – Super Bowl LVII will be the first time they each call the national broadcast, respectively.

Alongside the new faces in the top NFL booth is a network mainstay as Andrews returns for her 12th season on the sidelines. The veteran reporter – who recently became the first female recipient of the prestigious Pat Summerall Award – has covered three Super Bowls and 10 NFC Championships. She continues to contribute exclusive interviews, such as her highly anticipated sit-down last season with Aaron Rodgers, and reports from FOX NFL’s top games each week.

Rinaldi, a 17-time Emmy Award winner and one of the industry’s most preeminent correspondents and storytellers, also returns to the field as a sideline reporter for FOX NFL’s lead broadcast team. Since joining FOX Sports in 2021, Rinaldi has already produced a number of extraordinary, thought-provoking pieces for the network including “Blood Brothers” and “In His Shoes.”

The team makes its regular season debut on Sunday, Sept. 11, from Minneapolis, as the Minnesota Vikings host the Green Bay Packers in an NFC North showdown on AMERICA’S GAME OF THE WEEK.

FOX Sports’ complete NFL broadcaster lineup for the 2022-23 season will be announced at a later date.
