Angela Bellios |
Klaus did not go into detail on why Bellios was no longer with the station, saying he does not discuss personnel issues.
He said a variety of people have been filling in with French and Ferguson while the station looks for a new host.
Bellios hasn't announced the change on social media, but did publicly post that she was dealing with some health issues in August.Klaus said Bellios' replacement will be found as part of a station promotion called "Akron's Got Talent."
"Since talent is often an innate skill we will be conducting live on-air auditions from people with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds," Klaus said in an email. "Radio experience is not required. People who are interested should send their resume to wnirradio@gmail.com."
