SiriusXM Radio Launching 'Billboard Live' Show

Billboard announced Tuesday it's launching a new radio show on SiriusXM next week called Billboard Live.

The two-hour weekly live radio show will go on a deep dive into the hottest artists, releases, chart insights and music festivals and tours. Hosted by Billboard senior editor Lyndsey Havens and hip-hop editor Carl Lamarre, Billboard Live will break down the most buzz-worthy music news and feature guests from artists to industry executives. Billboard Live will premiere Tuesday, Sept. 7, and will continue airing on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon ET on SiriusXM's Volume channel (channel 106).

The show will also create topical playlists that will be available on Pandora.

"We couldn’t be more excited to launch Billboard Live with SiriusXM to connect music lovers with our music-industry experts," said Hannah Karp, Billboard's editorial director, in a press statement. "With breaking news updates, in-depth conversations, and interviews with today’s most influential artists and tastemakers, our hosts will explain the trends and stories behind the music topping our charts."

"We’re thrilled to be partnering with Billboard to bring our listeners the latest music news and breaking down the charts—from the top selling albums to the most streams—each week on Volume," added Roger Coletti, executive producer of SiriusXM’s Volume channel.

Last month, Billboard launched a new limited-engagement channel on SiriusXM, Billboard Top 500 Summer Hits, that highlighted the biggest all-time songs of the summer. "I'll Be Missing You," by Puff Daddy and Faith Evans, featuring 112, took over the top spot on the Billboard Top 500 Summer Hits countdown.
