Research: Are They Listening to Radio While WFH?

The past year has seen a large portion of the workforce shift to working from home. NuVoodoo Research has tracked that shift in its on-going study of concern about coronavirus and the changes we’re making in our lives to cope with it.

With at-work listening an important part of AQH delivery for many stations, playing to the working-from-home crowd is extremely important. The first question is are they listening while working at home? The answer is emphatically yes: listening while working from home is even more likely than listening while working outside the home. And those who are susceptible to ending up in the ratings samples are very likely to listen while working from home.

In their first webinar for 2021, “How to Get Your Ratings From Here to Vaccinated,” NuVoodoo takes look at when they start their workday at home and, most importantly, what they are listening to while they work from home. We’ll even dive into pathways to reach them off the air to extend the reach of your station’s marketing with this new group.

The webinar kicks off on Thursday, February 11 at 1 PM Eastern, with four opportunities to be on the livestreamed webinar (so you can get answers to your questions on the spot). Register at nuvoodoo.com/webinars.

A fresh sample of over 3,300 14-54’s across PPM markets will help you with new ideas to put your radio station on top of the Nielsen ratings.

NuVoodoo Rearch plans to share the latest data on:

  • Smart speaker penetration and listening to FM radio on them
  • National and local contests
  • Marketing messages that drive tune-in or boost TSL
  • Social and digital channels that move the needle
  • Podcasts & streaming
  • DJ’s and music hosts
  • What’s unique about ratings respondents

NuVoodoo promises a  dive deep in the data to show the differences across demos and ethnic groups. We’ll cover all the latest information in less than 40 minutes and then stay on as long as needed to answer questions from attendees. Register for any one of four sessions at nuvoodoo.com/webinars.
