Beasley Media Promotes Beasley, Lurie


Beasley Media Group announces Brad Beasley has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Operations at Beasley Media Group.

Beasley most recently served as vice president and market manager of the company’s Southwest Florida six station cluster. Previously, he held the positions of General Manager and Program Director at WRXK-FM.

In his new role, he will work closely with company President Bruce Beasley and Chief Operating Officer Brian Beasley in overseeing the day-to day operations of the company’s 64 radio stations.

“I look forward to this exciting new phase of my broadcasting career,” said Beasley. “It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to work alongside our corporate team and with all of our great stations across the country.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Brad to our corporate team at the company,” said Chief Executive Officer Caroline Beasley. “His personal insight, experience and leadership will be valuable in our markets as he works closely with our teams on a daily basis throughout the company.”

Beasley will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Naples, Florida.

Beasley is being succeeded by A-J Lurie.  He'll oversee Rock WRXK-FM “96KRock;” Top 40 WXKB-FM “B103.9;” Soft Adult Contemporary WJPT-FM “Sunny 106.3;” gold-based Tropical “Playa,” which airs on three FM translators; and Talk WJBX-AM 770 and FM translators W282BY and W268AH.

Lurie started his career as an AE for Beasley’s Fort Myers-Naples stations. He most recently held the top role for Beasley-owned WJBR-FM 99.5, an Adult Contemporary station primarily serving Wilmington, Del., in addition to his Local Market Integrated Partnerships post for Beasley Esports.

Caroline Beasley stated , “AJ was the perfect choice to lead our six radio properties in Southwest Florida. His leadership and previous experience working in the market made him the perfect choice for the position. We look forward to AJ working closely with our teams to take the cluster to the next level and beyond.”
