Nick Cannon Gets Job Offer, Wants Apology From ViacomCBS

Sean “Diddy” Combs offered Nick Cannon a job on his Revolt TV network — just hours after Cannon was fired by ViacomCBS Wednesday for making anti-Semitic remarks.

The NY Post reports Cannon has yet to respond to Diddy’s offer via Twitter or a rep. ViacomCBS terminated its relationship with the “Wild ‘n Out” host, after Cannon called black people the “true Hebrews” and praised the controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, during an episode of his YouTube talk show, “Cannon’s Class” on June 30.

ViacomCBS is the parent company of Nickelodeon and MTV, which produces “Wild ‘n Out.” Cannon, 39, served as chairman of Nickelodeon’s TeenNick division.

In a Facebook post, Nick Cannon called for "full ownership" of "Wild 'N Out" and an apology from ViacomCBS Inc. after the company terminated him for making anti-Semitic comments on his "Cannon's Class" podcast.

The Wrap reports Cannon also said he reached out to ViacomCBS Chair Shari Redstone to have a "conversation of reconciliation" and received "dead silence," which he pointed to as evidence that the company "wanted to put the young negro in his place," but representatives for both Redstone and ViacomCBS said Cannon's claims were "completely untrue."
