Drutz comes to Alpha from San Francisco powerhouse, KNBR, where he served as VP of sales for nine years.
“Just ‘the announcement’ of David’s transition to Alpha’s San Jose operation brought excitement and interest from advertisers and members of the media across the Bay Area,” said Larry Bastida, Alpha’s chief operating officer. “And, as anticipated, David has quickly moved to enhance the culture and our productivity.”
David stated, “I’m incredibly excited to be part of a company as visionary as Alpha Media and lead (classic hits) KBAY and (adult Top40) KEZR. Both brands not only dominate Silicon Valley but also have tremendous reach throughout the Bay Area. It’s going to be great fun in managing these stations to even more success!”
