Bonneville Denver has announced Tyler Polumbus has signed a multi-year agreement with Sports Radio KKFN 104.3 The Fan.

He joins Darren “DMac” McKee and Nick Ferguson on “The Drive,” weekdays from 3 to 7 p.m. For the first time, a weekday program will feature co-hosts representing offense and defense from different eras of their market’s NFL club.

“We viewed this as a unique opportunity to evolve ‘The Drive’ and present something that hasn’t been done before,” said Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan program director Raj Sharan. “Tyler’s perspective from playing offensive line is totally different from Nick’s on defense. Those differing viewpoints, facilitated by DMac’s 30 years of experience, will lead to fascinating conversations, analysis and fun.”

Polumbus is a Denver-native who played football at every level in Colorado. After graduating from Cherry Creek High School, he was named team captain at the University of Colorado. As a member of the Denver Broncos, he was a part of the Super Bowl 50 championship in 2016. His eight-year NFL career also included time with the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons.

Polumbus returns to Sports Radio 104.3 The Fan, where he began broadcasting in 2016. He spent the past two years with iHeartMedia, working as an analyst on Broncos game broadcasts and co-hosting a morning drive show. Polumbus graduated from CU with a degree in business management, and he and his wife, Liz, live in Parker, where they raise their three children.

“I’m ecstatic to come home to the place my radio career started and honored to be joining Denver’s most iconic sports talk radio show,” Polumbus said. “Nick and DMac are phenomenal at what they do, and together we’ll look to entertain and educate the listeners with our raw and authentic opinions. I can’t wait to get started.”

Joining Polumbus on “The Drive” is Ferguson, who joined the station in April. The former Broncos safety has served a variety of roles, including co-hosting multiple shows and creating digital content at 1043TheFan.com. Rounding out the trio is McKee, who has anchored “The Drive” for nearly a decade to record-high ratings with different partners. Polumbus and Ferguson replace Tom Nalen who is relocating for personal reasons.
