Philly Radio: Matt Michaels Named Digital PD for iHM Stations

iHeartMedia Philadelphia has named Matt Michaels Digital Program Director.

As Digital Program Director, Michaels will oversee website content and social media platforms for the cluster. In addition, he will continue to serve as a weekend on-air host for WISX 106.1 The Breeze. Michaels will report to Brian Check, Regional Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Philadelphia.

“Matt has already proven he is a leader and is well respected by both programming and sales,” said Check. “Five years ago, he made an immediate mark as an intern and it has been incredibly rewarding to watch him grow and step into this new role.”

Most recently, Michaels served as iHeartMedia Philadelphia’s digital coordinator, where he produced Show Bizz Buzz with Valerie Knight on 106.1 The Breeze. In addition, he also served as a producer for Chio in the Morning Show for the station. Michaels is a graduate of Temple University.
