Lara Logan Says Media 'All Singing From Same Hymn Sheet'

Former CBS '60 Minutes' Correspondent Lara Logan
On Sunday night’s episode of Life, Liberty & Levin on Fox News, veteran journalist Lara Logan spoke out to host Mark Levin against the blatant, widespread bias that has taken over her profession in recent years.

The Conservative Review reports Logan decried how “one single political ideology” dominates almost all academic institutions and how that same ideology has created a near-uniform political ideology in the field of journalism.

“When they’re all singing from the same hymn sheet, all their butts are covered, aren’t they?” Logan said of most media outlets. “Nobody’s challenging them; nobody’s holding them to account for what they’re reporting — we all go sailing along thinking we’re doing such amazing, outstanding work.”

The former CBS News foreign correspondent started making waves in February when she called out left-wing media bias on a podcast. “Although the media has always been left-leaning, we’ve abandoned our pretense or at least the effort to be objective today,” Logan said earlier this year. “We’ve become political activists, and some could argue propagandists, and there’s some merit to that.”

Logan says there is one set of people who haven’t been fooled by the game that Big Media has been playing: The audience.

“That’s all the people, in the the length and breadth of this country, and whether they’re Democrats or Republicans, who are lining up to have this conversation right now, who know that something is not right.”

On Sunday night’s episode of Life, Liberty & Levin on Fox News, veteran journalist Lara Logan spoke out to LevinTV host Mark Levin against the blatant, widespread bias that has taken over her profession in recent years.

“And that’s why they’re turning away from the news, and that’s why they’re not watching, and that’s why they’re frustrated, and that’s why there’s so little trust and faith in the media these days,” Logan said. “And responsibility and accountability begins with us.”
