San Antonio Radio: KONO-AM's Sellers Has Hidden Talent
Steven O. Sellers started his Top 40-Rock and Roll radio career on KONO 860 AM, in 1970, not too long out of high school. In the intervening years, he climbed the radio ladder and had successful stints on the East Coast and the West Coast, but he has always considered KONO his radio home.
In 2000, Steve signed on for a nearly 13 year stint at FM sister station KONO 101.1 where he did morning news, mid days and settled into the afternoon shift to bring in some big ratings.
Today Sellers is waking up listeners on Cox Media's KONO-AM.
This week, KENS-TV5 highlighted Sellers and what they report as his hidden talent.
Sellers has racked up numerous awards and honors, including induction into the San Antonio Radio Hall of Fame, the Texas Radio Hall of Fame and the Texas Legacy Music Hall of Fame.
