NYC Radio: 77 WABC to Host First GOP Primary Debate

77 WABC Radio announces that it will host the first GOP primary debate between Rep. Dan Donovan and former Congressman Michael Grimm who are locked in a tight and heated race for New York’s 11th Congressional District.

The one-hour live debate will take place at WABC Radio studios in New York City at 12:00pm/Noon Eastern on Monday, June 11th.

Veteran journalist and WABC Radio Host and Political Editor Rita Cosby will moderate the highly anticipated face-off as part of the station’s continuing Election Central coverage.

Cosby recently was selected as Radio Ink’s Most Influential Woman in Radio Legend and was recognized for programming excellence by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation with her sixth Gracie Award for her exclusive interview with Hillary Clinton.

The debate will air live during her show “Curtis + Cosby” which she co-hosts with Curtis Sliwa weekdays from Noon-3pm Eastern. Extensive live post-debate analysis will follow on the legendary talk station.
