Seacrest Accuser Says Megyn Kelly Appearance Abruptly Canceled

The stylist who accused Ryan Seacrest of sexual harassment has revealed she was dropped by Megyn Kelly Today right before she was due to speak about the alleged incident on air.

Suzie Hardy told DailyMail.com she was scheduled to make an appearance on the daytime talk show on March 19 after producers had campaigned for her to do a televised interview.

'I could have gone with a number of shows, but I picked Megyn Kelly because of other interviews she had done supporting women in the #MeToo movement,' Hardy said.

'Everything was set, my attorney [Howard King] and I were going to be on a plane to New York City, the pre-interview was supposed to be Friday [March 16] and the taping that following Monday [March 19]. But the morning of our flight, they called my lawyer and abruptly canceled. No explanation was given.'

Seacrest is manager editor of E! News, produces KUWTK and does E!'s  red carpet events - E! is owned by NBC Universal and Hardy believes it's no coincidence that she was suddenly dropped from the show.

Hardy came forward with allegations last month that Seacrest had sexually harassed her multiple times from 2007 to 2013 when she was working for E! network.

Hardy's interview on Megyn Kelly Today that morning would have aired exactly opposite Seacrest's show, Live with Kelly and Ryan, on ABC.

NBC Universal, which is the parent company of Megyn Kelly Today, also owns E! network, and Hardy believes its affiliation may be the reason she was cut from the morning show.

'It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out,' she told DailyMail.com.
