Miami Radio: WAXY To Air Miami Baseball

Entercom and the University of Miami have announced a multi-year agreement. The agreement includes broadcasting rights of Miami Hurricanes baseball and ancillary baseball programming on Entercom’s WAXY 790 AM The Ticket beginning with the 2018 season.

As part of the partnership, The Ticket will broadcast at least 15 regular season games, all postseason baseball and various Canes baseball-focused programs throughout the season.

The station will produce and air live all broadcasts from the AM 790 The Ticket studios. Joe Zagacki, in his 29th season as the Voice of the Canes, will once again do the play-by-play for baseball broadcasts.

All broadcasts will also be streamed on TheTicketMiami.com as well as on Radio.com.
