Chattanooga Radio: Boner Joins WRXR For PM Drive

Entercom announced Wednesday that Chattanooga radio veteran Randy Smith, known as “Boner,” will be rejoining active rock radio station WRXR Rock 105 FM as the new afternoon show host. The new show “Boner in the Afternoon” will air weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m ET.

“Boner is a longtime local on-air personality and we are thrilled to reunite him with the Rock 105 listeners,” said Nichole Hartman, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom Chattanooga. “Boner has been a part of the fabric of the Rock 105 brand in many roles over the years and we’re excited that he will now be hosting Afternoon Drive.”

“I am thrilled to be back and cannot wait to reconnect with the Chattanooga rock community. I’m looking forward to spending my afternoons entertaining Rock 105’s beloved listeners,” said Boner.
