OKC Radio: No More Fun As KQOB Flips To Adult Hits

Cumulus Media announces that it kicked off a new year with a new radio station, Oklahoma City’s new Adult Hits radio station, ALICE 96.9 FM (KQOB-FM).

ALICE 96.9 FM turned on Oklahoma City’s freshest and quirkiest music mix on January 1, 2018, at 12:01am with its first song, “Don’t You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds. The station was previously formatted as a Classic Hits station and branded as “Fun 96.9”.

Jay Davis, Vice President/Market Manager, Cumulus Media-Oklahoma City, said: ““We created ALICE for the listeners who wanted something compelling and different from the traditional radio fare. ALICE 96.9 FM lives by the mantra “We Play Anything”, and surrounds the great music it plays with a playful, clever, and authentic persona. While ALICE 96-9 FM does not have traditional “announcers”, listeners will find plenty of personality on the station.”
