Boston Radio: WEEI, Patriots Ink New Broadcast Deal

The New England Patriots and Entercom have announced a multi-year partnership extension.

The agreement includes broadcasting rights of “Patriots Monday” and “Patriots Friday,” headlined by five-time Super Bowl champion and four-time Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady, as well as the Patriots’ five-time Super Bowl champion Head Coach Bill Belichick, on WEEI Sports Radio Network which airs on 93.7 FM in Boston. The weekly features give Patriots fans access to top players via exclusive interviews on the top-rated sports radio network on Mondays and Fridays. WEEI is a part of Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States.

Brady will kick off “Patriots Monday” with a weekly appearance on WEEI’s top rated morning show, “The Kirk and Callahan Show,” which airs from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET. Belichick will wrap up “Patriots Monday” with his weekly appearance on “The Dale and Holley with Keefe show,” airing from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. In between, “Ordway, Merloni and Fauria” hosted by Glenn Ordway, Lou Merloni, and two-time Super Bowl champion and former Patriots tight end Christian Fauria, will continue to feature Patriots captains and veteran leaders who will be available to discuss the most recent game. The show airs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The “Patriots Friday” lineup will feature additional Patriots players to preview the upcoming game.

The partnership between the Patriots and WEEI began in 1995 with “Patriots Monday” and expanded to include “Patriots Friday” during the 2008 season. The fan-favorite Patriots programming ensures Tom Brady’s appearance on WEEI for years to come.
