St. Louis Radio: Country WIL Presents Flood Relief Concert

Thousands of St. Louis area residents are still recovering from the recent, historic flooding and continue to need assistance.

In order to help out our neighbors in need, New Country WIL 92.3 FM and the St. Louis Cardinals will present the Flood Relief Benefit Concert on Memorial Day at Busch Stadium.

Prior to the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game on Monday afternoon, May 29th, local boys and rising New Country stars Trent Tomlinson and Drew Baldridge will perform in concert, and Missourian Tyler Farr will be throwing out the first pitch!

Tickets for the Flood Relief Benefit Concert are only nine dollars and 23 cents with 100% of the proceeds from the first 1,000 tickets going to the Salvation Army, which is supplying everything from food to furniture to flood victims. And the St. Louis Cardinals will MATCH the total from the first 1,000 $9.23 tickets sold to benefit the Salvation Army.

The $9.23 ticket will include access to the pre-game concert in the Riverview Corner at Busch Stadium starting at 11:30 am, along with a seat to watch the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Dodgers at 1:15pm.

According to Dan Farrell, Sr. Vice President, Sales and Marketing of the St. Louis Cardinals, LLC, “The St. Louis Cardinals organization prides itself on supporting our fans throughout the St. Louis community. The Flood Relief Benefit Concert is a great and entertaining way we can raise funds for the Salvation Army, and we are glad to be partnering with New Country 92.3 in order to showcase local country music talent like Trent Tomlinson and Drew Baldridge.

New Country 92.3 Program Director Scott Roddy comments, “New Country 92.3 is the ONLY Live and Local NEW Country station in St. Louis. We live HERE and care about OUR friends and neighbors. I’m immensely proud of the on air “home team” for all their coverage on air, online and on Facebook. More than 450,000 watched the coverage on Facebook live. This was a devastating flood for so many, the least we can do is spread the word about ongoing flood relief effort. We are honored to be working with the legendary St. Louis Cardinals.”

Tickets for the Flood Relief Benefit Concert are on sale now at http://newcountry923.fm. Gates will open at 11:15 am, with the concert starting at 11:30 am.
