Appleton-Oshkosh Radio: Jeff Lyons New Cumulus Marketing Director

Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed seasoned radio marketing and promotions professional Jeff Lyons as Promotions/Marketing Director for its five-station radio group in Appleton-Oshkosh, WI.

Lyons joins Cumulus from iHeart Media-Modesto, CA, where he was Director of Marketing and Promotions.

Prior to that, he was Director of Marketing and Promotions for Gold Coast Broadcasting in Oxnard-Ventura, CA. He was also Promotions Director and On-Air Host for American General Media-Santa Maria, CA, and was formerly Promotions Director for Cumulus Media stations in Huntsville, AL, and Tallahassee, FL. Lyons began his career in 2003 as Promotions Director for CBS Radio’s WPXY in Rochester, NY.

Guy Dark, Operations Manager, Cumulus Media-Appleton/Oshkosh, said: “Jeff’s experience in various markets made him an easy choice to fill our Promotions slot. Coming from California, he’ll need to invest in some Badgers and Packers winter gear!”
