Terre Haute Radio: B97's Matt Lueking Apparent Murder Victim

Terre Haute police are investigating the death of a local Terre Haute radio personality Matt Lueking.

Lueking was an on-air personality at WFNB B92.7 FM and had worked at other stations in the area.

According to WIBQ-AM, Around 11 a.m. Monday Terre Haute City Police responding to a well being check and found the body oof Lueking in a bedroom of an apartment.

Suspects
Officers say that the Lueking’s vehicle could not be found.

Within an hour officers were informed that two males had used the Lueking’s credit card and identification to charge purchases at the Clinton Walmart.

Walmart employees became suspicious after one of the males appeared to be looking at the identification in order to sign for the charge.  When confronted, the two males fled the store leaving behind the bank card and identification belonging Lueking.

Store employees obtained the license plate number and provided it to police along security video.

Officers traced the plate and found suspects loading bags containing personal items into Lueking's car.

Police arrested 24 year old John Collins of Terre Haute has been arrested on a preliminary charge of murder.  Police later arrested 28 year old Benjamin J. Selig of Rockville for on a preliminary charge of Assisting a Criminal. Officers have also 25 year old Kathleen E. Featherstone of Terre Haute for Felony Murder, Robbery, and Burglary.
