ESPN Set For 1016 MLB World Series

ESPN will provide comprehensive on-site coverage from the 112th Major League Baseball World Series between the Chicago Cubs and Cleveland Indians, beginning with Game 1 from Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio on Tuesday, Oct. 25.

ESPN Radio, the exclusive national radio home of the MLB Postseason, will broadcast every pitch from the Fall Classic for the 19th consecutive season. Play-by-play commentator Dan Shulman and analyst Aaron Boone, following their first full season together in ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball booth, will provide commentary on ESPN Radio throughout the World Series for the third year.

There will be a one-hour pre-game show leading in to each World Series game beginning at 7 p.m. ET. on ESPN Radio. Reporter Chris Singleton will provide pre-game and post-game analysis and interviews. The World Series is also available on ESPNRadio.com, the ESPN app, Sirius XM Channel 80, Slacker Radio, Apple Music and TuneIn.

Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg will also be speaking with MLB commissioner Rob Manfred during Mike & Mike on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Friday, Oct. 28, the show will be live from The Cubby Bear in Chicago (6-10 a.m.) in advance of Game 3.

ESPN’s MLB studio show Baseball Tonight will be on-site throughout the 112th World Series with the team of Karl Ravech, Jessica Mendoza, Eduardo Perez, Buster Olney, Tim Kurkjian and Chris Berman. For Games 1, 2 and 3, coverage will begin with Baseball Tonight at 5 p.m. Baseball Tonight will generally precede the remaining matchups at 7 p.m. ET and recap the action following the game at midnight or 1 a.m. on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.

Tampa Bay Rays’ ace Chris Archer returns for his second year as part of ESPN’s MLB Postseason coverage. Archer will join Baseball Tonight as a guest analyst for on-site, pre-game and post-game shows during Games 1 and 2, and Games 5, 6 and 7, if necessary. Archer will also join Shulman and Boone in the ESPN Radio booth for a select inning during those games.
