WWOne Again #1 Network Radio Company


Nielsen’s RADAR 130, released Monday, shows that Westwood One continues to be the leader in audience and outpace the network radio marketplace in growth.

Nielsen’s quarterly RADAR report provides the standard measurement currency for selling and buying network radio. RADAR 130 data show:
  • Westwood One holds the number one share in network radio audience, leading the industry in Adult 25-54 gross impressions for the 12th consecutive quarter.
  • Westwood One’s average network audience is up 3% overall, representing the fourth consecutive RADAR survey that Westwood One’s 25-54 audience grew while outperforming the marketplace.
“We are thrilled that Westwood One has grown for four consecutive quarters and remains the number one radio network in America,” said Suzanne Grimes, Westwood One’s President and EVP, Corporate Marketing for Cumulus Media. “AM/FM radio is on fire. Total audience is up across the industry, according to Nielsen. Combined with the excitement over new digital platforms, this is truly the new golden age of audio.”
