Gabriel Sherman Gets NBC, MSNBC Gig

Gabriel Sherman
Gabriel Sherman has been named a contributor to NBC News and MSNBC, the network announced on Tuesday.

Sherman, New York Magazine's national affairs editor, has been on the forefront of reporting on Fox News and Roger Ailes. Sherman published an unauthorized biography of Ailes in 2014, called "The Loudest Voice in the Room." According to CNN, he was the subject of a 400 page opposition research report commissioned by Ailes.

According to Politico, his role at New York magazine remains unchanged.

Sherman was introduced as a contributor for the first time on Tuesday by Kate Snow.

Sherman will be a contributor on topics related to media and politics. The deal has been in the works for some time, a NBC executive confirmed, and Sherman will appear across all NBC and MSNBC programming.
