TX Radio: Former KLJT PD Indicted On Drug Charges

A former radio personality at an East Texas station has been indicted on drug charges.

Patrick Aguirre, 39, of Tyler, was indicted Aug. 18 in the 241st Judicial District Court of Smith County. Aguirre is charged with possession of marijuana, engaging in criminal activity and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.

Aguirre, also known as "Brain," was a morning show host on KLJT 95.3-102.3 FM The Breeze. The radio station closed down this month, unrelated to these charges.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit filed by a Tyler Police Department officer, police believe Aguirre was involved in the drug ring where electronic cigarette cartridges containing THC or Tetrahydrocannabinol were sold to buyers.

Aguirre's co-defendants in the case were also indicted.
