San Diego Radio: iHM's KLSD Unveils New Line-Up

KLSD XTRA 1360 AM Fox Sports San Diego has unviled a new line-up just ahead of the new NFL Season.

On Monday, August 15th we'll debut “Hardwick & Richards” in the mornings featuring the duo of former Charger Nick Hardwick with XTRA 1360 personality Judson Richards. Then in middays “The Mark & Rich Show,” will feature veteran radio and TV personality, Mark Willard, along with former NFL Lineman, Rich Ohrnberger.

“The opportunity to team with a talent like Judson is incredibly exhilarating,” said Hardwick. “Judson and I will have a show unlike any other here in San Diego. You’ll be listening with a smile plastered on your face.”

Hardwick, spent 11 seasons as the San Diego Chargers’ center from 2004-2014. During his career, he was considered the anchor for a dynamic offensive line, developed into a fan favorite and was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2006. Richards has hosted the pre- and post-game shows for the Chargers Radio Network and “Chargers Power Hour,” heard weekday evenings on XTRA 1360.

In addition, the station will debut an all-new, local midday show “The Mark & Rich Show.” Willard, who commonly fills in for Colin Cowherd on Fox Sports Radio Network, began his radio career in San Diego with the original XTRA 690, and most recently worked for ESPN LA 710 in Los Angeles. Ohrnberger, who will also serve as a part of the pregame show on the Chargers radio network, spent two seasons with the team after being drafted by the New England Patriots.

“I’m excited to return to San Diego and create something new with such an incredibly talented and determined group,” said Willard. “Rich is going to be a star in this format.”

In a move that will make XTRA 1360 live throughout the entire day, "The Herd" with Colin Cowherd, which is simulcast on FS1, gains an additional hour and now airs weekdays from 9 a.m. to Noon.

“We are thrilled to add Mark to the lineup, an extremely talented host with a diverse skillset,” said iHeartMedia San Diego Market President, Melissa Forrest on the all-new lineup. “We are also extremely excited to provide our listeners unparalleled access to Chargers and NFL coverage with the additions of Nick Hardwick and Rich Ohrnberger. Our listeners will now be a Chargers Insider more than ever before.”

“The Loose Cannons,” with hosts Steve Hartman and Mike Costa now shift to a new time slot, weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. In July, the Loose Cannons marked their second anniversary back on air on XTRA 1360 Fox Sports San Diego.

Program Director Brian Long adds, “The caliber of local talent additions to XTRA 1360 speaks volumes to the station’s commitment to deliver first-rate sports talk in San Diego.”
