Boston Radio: Entercom Makes Moves In Sales

Alison Harris
Entercom Communications has announced a promotion and an addition to the ranks of its Boston sales leadership.

Current WRKO-AM Sales Manager Alison Harris has been named to the same position at sister station WAAF-FM, while Denise DiLuca, VP/Sales for iHeart Media in Providence, has been chosen to replace Harris at WRKO.

Before joining WRKO in June, 2015, Harris was VP of Sales for Clear Channel Outdoor in Washington, DC and Baltimore. Prior to that, she was Director of the Eastern Division Station Group for Radio Disney, also serving as that company’s station manager in Boston. Harris has also worked in sales at Comcast Spotlight, the former Citadel Communications and Clear Channel Radio.

Denise DeLuca
DiLuca previously worked in the Business Development Department at Entercom Boston before joining iHeartMedia in 2012. There, she served as a senior account executive for the company’s Kiss 108 prior to advancing to the VP/Sales role in Providence. DiLuca’s broadcast sales experience also includes positions at WBZ-AM and WCRB-FM in Boston, the latter as National Sales Manager.

Entercom New England VP/Market Manager Phil Zachary says both Harris and DiLuca embody the cluster’s inexorable work ethic. “Alison and Denise are natural sales leaders,” he said. “Both are highly regarded in the marketplace for their uncompromising integrity, outstanding training skills, intensity of focus and ability to recruit the very best local sellers. I have no doubt our Boston cluster will continue to outperform the market with these proven professionals in key roles.” Both appointments are effective immediately.
