On Friday, July 1, WEPN ESPN 98.7 FM will present “The Ultimate Kickoff Party” with The Michael Kay Show and Hahn & Humpty to mark the beginning of summer.
The event will be held at Martell’s Tiki Bar in Point Pleasant, N.J., from noon – 7 p.m. ET, and the hosts of both programs – Michael Kay, Don LaGreca, Peter Rosenberg, Alan Hahn and Rick DiPietro – will welcome guests including Yankees great Bernie Williams, Super Bowl champion and former New York Jet Willie Colon and entertainment provided by Willie Wilson and the 98.7 All Stars.
“The Ultimate Kickoff Party” is open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to win 98.7FM’s “All-American Road Trip” Ford Mustang convertible. Additional details are available at: http://espn.go.com/new-york/radio/
The Michael Kay Show has been a mainstay on 98.7FM since 2002 and is broadcast from 3 – 7 p.m. weekdays. It has been simulcast on the YES Network since February 2014. Hahn & Humpty airs from noon – 3 p.m., and has been hosted by Hahn and former New York Islanders goalie DiPietro (“Humpty”) since 2014.
