  3. I nominate Steve Kindred, a solid voice for broadcast journalism in the Southern Calfornia area for many years. He was there for it all, from the OJ trial to the Northridge Earthquake to Michael Jackson and the L.A. riots. He was an exceptional professional, a voice of reason and calm for millions of KFWB listeners, setting an example of how radio news should be done for all his peers.

  5. I nominate Steve Kindred. Rock solid, energetic, innovative reporter who has told the L.A. story like few others through the decades. He was "the source" on the OJ Simpson trial and on many other stories at the legendary KFWB. Steve continues to inspire radio journalists, young and old.
