WWOne Sports Provides Exclusive NCAA Hoops Coverage

Westwood One, the official radio partner of the NCAA, has all the excitement on air, online, and on-site as it presents exclusive audio coverage of the 2016 NCAA Men’s Final Four semifinal games in Houston on Saturday, April 2, 2016 and the NCAA Men’s Division I Championship Game on Monday, April 4, 2016.

The climax of NCAA March Madness will captivate listeners across numerous broadcast and digital platforms. The games can be heard on more than 500+ radio stations, SiriusXM, and NCAA March Madness Live, and streamed for free on WestwoodOneSports.com, NCAA.com/MarchMadness, TuneIn.com, and the TuneIn app.  

On Saturday, April 2, the broadcast day tips off at 3:30 pm ET from Houston’s NRG Stadium with The Final Four Show. Game coverage begins at 4:30 pm ET with Villanova vs. Oklahoma, followed by Syracuse vs. North Carolina. Westwood One Sports’ Kevin Kugler provides the play-by-play, and Clark Kellogg and Hall of Fame Coach John Thompson will be the game analysts. Former UCLA All-American and three-time NCAA Player of the Year Bill Walton contributes analysis to the broadcast and Jim Gray serves as courtside reporter. Jason Horowitz hosts the pregame and halftime shows, with contributions from Doug Gottlieb and Bill Frieder.

Kugler, Clark, Thompson
Kellogg will be doing double-duty in Houston, simultaneously serving as a studio analyst for CBS Sports and Turner Sports’ television coverage. Immediately following the pregame show broadcast on the TV set, Kellogg will make his way courtside to the Westwood One radio broadcast position to join Kugler and Thompson. Then he will rejoin TV for halftime before repeating the process in the second half and postgame.

The winners of Saturday’s games meet for the championship game at NRG Stadium on Monday, April 4.  Coverage tips off at 6:30 pm ET with “Championship Monday.” Game coverage begins at 7:30 pm ET.

Westwood One will also broadcast the NCAA Women’s Final Four semifinal games and NCAA Women’s Division I Championship Game on Sunday, April 3 and Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Indianapolis.
