Louisville Radio: Bob Edwards Visits WFPL

“Being an old fossil, I’m not entirely sure what a podcast is, but I’m going to do them anyway.”

And in that self-deferential fashion, public radio legend and former SiriusXM host Bob Edwards visited recently with James Bickers at non-com WFPL 89.3 FM in Louisville to explain the next chapter in his career.

Last month, his two regular radio shows — The Bob Edwards Show on SiriusXM and PRI’s Bob Edwards Weekend — came to an end. Now, he’s turning to the crowd-funding model to start his next endeavor, which is tantalizingly open-ended.
