“I’ve spent the last 15 years building Miller Communications and our reach within the South Carolina radio market. It’s been extremely fulfilling to create this radio group in the state. I’m very excited to align myself with the growing broadcasting entity of Community Broadcasters where I’ll remain in a management capacity,” Miller said.

Community Broadcasters LLC is co-owned and operated by Jim Leven and Bruce Mittman in partnership with Northwood Ventures in Long Island, N.Y. Mittman also owns and operates Mittcom, a full-service advertising agency headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.

“We’re thrilled to expand our radio company into three fast-growing markets throughout South Carolina. The Miller Communications purchase doubles the size of Community Broadcasters and furthers our strategic vision to grow a small-market radio group throughout the U.S.” Leven said.

Community Broadcasters began operating Miller Communications on Tuesday via a LMA.
