Colorado Springs Radio: KCSF-AM Launches Sports Format

Cumulus Media announces the launch this week of Southern Colorado’s first radio station offering “All Sports, All The Time” – the new Xtra Sports Radio 1300 AM/KCSF-AM in Colorado Springs.

The new station (5 Kw-D, 1 Kw-Nightsd) offers sports fans play-by-play from many of the region’s most popular sports teams, along with sports radio’s top syndicated shows from Dan Patrick, Jim Rome, Doug Gottlieb, and a stable of great hosts from CBS Sports.

The move also includes the promotion of afternoon talk host Matt Pauley to Program Director for Xtra Sports 1300. Pauley also serves as one of the play-by-play announcers for Colorado Springs Sky Sox Triple A baseball team and is sports reporter for cluster mate KVOR.
