Miami Radio: PD, PM Driver Ken Boesen Leaving WKIS

CBS Radio/Miami and Ken Boesen Program Director for Country WKIS 99.9 FM KISS Country are parting company after eight years.

Meanwhile, programming for WKIS will be handled by Cluster OM Rob Morris, while a search for a new PD is being conducted.

Boesen is also Afternoon Host for WKIS and reportedly will stay on in that day-part through the end of June.

Boesen joined WKIS in 2007, following previous successful Country programming tenures at WPOC/Baltimore, KWJJ/Portland and KSKS/Fresno.

SVP/Market Manager Joe Bell, commenting on Boesen's time with with the station said in a note to the staff, "For the past eight years, Ken has been a valued member of our management team and has played a big part in the station's success. In addition to his PD and on-air responsibilities, Ken has booked the Chili Cookoff and the other KISS concert events."
