iHeartRadio takes the brass ring in the nation’s largest metro
placing three stations in the Top 5 (6+ AQH) in the April PPMs released Monday
by Nielsen. During April, iHR stations totaled a 17.5 share in the Top5.
AC WLTW 106.7 FM is at its usual perch for the sixth
straight month after moving upward 7.6—7.9. CBS Radio’s Classic Hits WCBS 101.1
FM is further back, but remains #2 wobbling just a bit 6.4—6.3.
Ending up at #3 is SBS’ Tropical WSKQ 97.9 FM LaMega up
5.3—5.7. iHR’s Top40 WHTZ 100.3 FM had an uptick 4.3—4.4
to claim the #4 spot. And, clustermate Classic Rock WAXQ 104.3 FM was up 4.9—5.2 to
end up at #5.
