VA Radio: Saga To Acquire Five Stations From VerStandig

Saga Communications, Inc. announced today that it has entered into an agreement to purchase the assets of five stations from the VerStandig family.

The stations are:

• N/T WSVA 550 AM 
• Sports WHBG 1360 AM
• Top40 WQPO 104.7 FM 
• HotAC WJDV 96.1 FM
• Active Rock WTGD 105.1 FM

All the stations serve the Harrisonburg, VA radio market.

Saga expects to close the transaction, subject to the approval of the Federal Communications Commission, in June 2015.
