SA Radio: Claudia Garafalo Departs Mornings On KCYY-FM

Popular San Antonio country station KCYY 100.3 FM Y100, has lost its feminine morning voice.

Claudia Garofalo recently left her gig as sidekick to main man Jeff Miles on “Miles in the Morning” to focus on her TV job, according to mysanantonio.com.

Since early last year, Garofalo has served as co-host of WOAI-TV’s lifestyle show “San Antonio Living” three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

“I resigned at Y100 about two weeks ago,” Garofalo wrote in a message, after I mentioned listeners were asking where she’d gone. “The time just felt right and I wanted to focus more on TV.”

She added she’s “looking forward to being more present on ‘S.A. Living’.”

Garofalo, who’s married to another station staple, Michael Garofalo, Leslie Bohl’s co-anchor on “News 4 WOAI Today."
