The nationally syndicated radio show, The Bert Show, provided a lucky listener a Valentine’s Day they will never forget on Saturday, February 14. Co-host Kristin Klingshirn surprised a deserving listener from Atlanta after receiving a heart-felt email.

Newly single and just two weeks away from her 39th birthday, Tory reached out to Kristin for makeover suggestions to boost her self-esteem. Over 22 years ago, Tory was involved in a tornado leaving her paralyzed and losing her mother in the tragic accident. Today, Tory is a mother of two and although she is wheelchair bound for the rest of her life, she has overcome incredible odds and touched so many people. After reading her email, Kristin knew she wanted to do more than just list her favorite nail salon, boutiques and spas.
