Charlotte Radio: New Morning Show Launches On WNKS

Maney, LauRen and Roy have inked a deal to take over mornings on Beasley Media Group’s Top40 WNKS 95.1 FM /Kiss95.1 weekdays from 6am to 10am.

Maney has been part of the Kiss morning show for over three years and is excited to bring a fresh approach to local Charlotte radio that will host a listener driven, entertainment based show with the addition of LauRen Merola and Roy Brown.

LauRen has done television in Pittsburgh and talk radio stints in Sports Radio WINZ 940 AM in Miami and most recently WZGV 730 AM /ESPN Radio in Charlotte. She has danced on four USO entertainment tours as well as professionally for both the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets and Miami Dolphins. LauRen’s most looking forward to delivering pop culture and entertainment news and making listeners the star of the show.

Hailing from Roanoke’s WXLK 92.3 FM /K92, Roy Brown brings a unique perspective to Kiss Mornings.

Unlike his co-hosts, Roy is not so worldly. He has never been on an airplane, never been to a NASCAR race and has never been above 5 stories in a skyscraper. “I can’t wait for the listeners to help introduce me to Charlotte and get to know what this big city has to offer.”
