Lansing Radio:WQTX To Flip-Flop To Sports

Midwest Communications has announced Big Country WQTX 92.1 FM (licenced to St. Johns MI)  is planning to swtich back to Sports Talk January 19 and will be branding as The Ticket 92.1 FM as of Jan. 19.

The station's lineup will include "Michigan's Big Show," hosted by local host Michael Patrick Shiels, and "Michigan's Business Rap," which is expanding from one day a week to five, said Jeff Huard, president and CEO of Spotlight, which produces both shows.

In addition, the station is adding "The Griff & Grinz Show," hosted by Mike Griffith, MLive.com Michigan State beat reporter, and Steve Grinczel, who writes for MSUSpartans.com. "The Drive with Jack Ebling" also is moving to 92.1 FM from 730 AM, starting next week.

WQTX-FM will be a Fox Sports Radio affiliate and will carry the syndicated "The Dan Patrick Show," hosted by former ESPN host Dan Patrick.

WQTX has been airing a Country format since January 6, 2011.
