NYC Radio: Joe Nolan Observes 35-Years On-Air

Joe Nolan (right) with WCBS-FM's Dan Taylor
Congratulations to longtime NYC Traffic Personality Joe Nolan who is observing 35-years this week.

Nolan is currently an ensemble member on Scott Shannon's 'Big Show' on WCBS 101.1 FM and Wednesday New Jersey State Senator Kip Bateman stopped by.  He presented Nolan with a Senate Resolution for his years of service.

Nolan wrote the following Wednesday on his Facebook page:
Well today is another one of those milestone days.
35 years ago today a bunch of kids(including me) in their early 20's led by Joe Biermann, Susan Murphy and Fred Feldman started what would become an icon in NY Radio. Shadow Traffic was born on December 3rd, 1979 in a small office in Union, NJ.
Today is Shadow’s and my 35th anniversary of doing traffic on the radio in New York. From KTU and WABC/PLJ/ESPN to CBS-FM.
No one could be more grateful for the amazing teachers like Joe and Susan and Fred in the beginning, and no one could be more humbled to be on CBS-FM with the legendary Scott Shannon.
Thank you all for listening for all these years and letting me into your life every morning.
