NYC Radio: Astra To Join 92-3 The Amp

This Monday, September 15th, popular Long Island radio host, Astra will join WBMP 92.3 FM AMP Radio as afternoon drive host.

Astra, a native New Yorker, has extensive radio experience in the City and on Long Island. An avid user of social media, Astra has thousands of followers across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

“I am honored and blessed to be joining the team at 92.3 AMP radio,” said Astra. “It’s been my dream to work in the #1 market. To have landed the afternoon drive position, I can say that all of my hard work has paid off…DREAMS DO COME TRUE! I can’t wait to crack that mic and make noise in New York City!”

92.3 keeps its all-one-name lineup, with Niko in middays and Toro at night.

As of Monday, September 15, 92.3 AMP Radio’s weekday line-up will be Niko midday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., followed by Astra in afternoon drive, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Toro will take over for the evening shift, 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Thomas is still looking for a morning drive host.
