For the fourth year in a row, WIAD 94.7 FM Fresh FM’s very own Tommy McFly has answered the call from the White House to serve as official emcee of the White House Easter Egg Roll.
This will be the 136th time that eggs have rolled around Washington, D.C. the day after Easter. This year’s theme is “Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape” and will feature live music, sports courts, cooking stations, storytelling and lots of family fun.
According to CBS Radio's Fresh, The White House Easter Egg Roll will also include a lineup of national talents including the Washington Redskins’ own RG3, Nats pitcher Gio Gonzalez, recording artist Ariana Grande, national R&B artist Candice Glover, Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally star Ross Lynch with his band R5, Sesame Street, Jim Carrey and more.
While the lottery for attending the Easter Egg Roll has ended, Tommy will be on-site taking pictures and keeping almost 30,000 people entertained on the hoppy day.
