Cumulus To Roll-Out 'America's Morning Show' Monday

Cumulus Media is rolling-out distribution of its Nashville-based morning show this coming Monday with the addition of some 19 markets.

The show, which features Blair Garner, country artists Terri Clark and Chuck Wicks, Erika Grace Powell, and HLN morning anchor Robin Meade, currently airs on Cumulus' WNSH 94.7 FM NashFM in New York City since last summer.

Although the company is initially rolling out AMS in 19 markets this Monday to O&O stations, co-COO John Dickey says the show will be syndicated for non-Cumulus stations sometime in the 2Q of 2014.

Among the O&O stations picking up AMS Monday include:
  • WKDF Nashville
  • WDRQ Detroit
  • WIWF Charleston WV
  • WXBM Pensacola FL
  • WHKR Melbourne Fl
In Nashville, current WKDF morning co-host Becca Walls and Blair Garner announced the change this morning. She also disclosed she'll be returning to her mid-day slot.
