Twin Cities Radio: Black Jack Is Back

World Series MVP Jack Morris is returning to the radio and television booth to broadcast MLB Minnesota Twins games this coming season, according to kare11.com.

The former "ace" pitcher will join Tim Laudner, Roy Smalley and the FOX Sports North broadcast team for pre-game and post-game.

He will also serve as a game analyst with Dick Bremer when Bert Blyleven is not scheduled.

For radio, Morris will co-host the "Ron Gardenhire Show" on Sunday mornings at KTWN 96.3 FM K-TWIN. He will also work on Sunday's "This is Twins Territory."

Morris is famous among Twins fans for Game 7 in the 1991 World Series in which he threw 10 shutout innings earning him the World Series MVP title.

Morris, 58, played 14 years for the Detroit Tigers, one year for the Twins, two for the Toronto Blue Jays and finished his career in 1994 with the Cleveland Indians.
