A local radio personality was arrested Wednesday morning at
10:30am in Tullahoma .
63 year-old John Edward Nichols was arrested by Tullahoma officer Rocky Ruehling for being a
fugitive from justice.
Nichols worked for WDUC 93.9 FM The Duck in Tullahoma and goes by the nickname the
“Flying Dutchman” on their morning show.
Nichols was wanted on 1st degree sexual abuse out of Logan County , Kentucky Logan County say they will extradite Nichols back to Kentucky to face the
charges there.
He was booked into the Coffee County Jail on the fugitive
from justice charge on a $750,000 bond.
The Duck announced that John Nichols who served as the
station’s morning personality and program director is no longer employed by the
station.
