Boston Radio: Jeff Katz OUT At Boston Herald Talker

Jeff Katz is no longer hosting of the online station’s Morning Meeting.  Katz helped inaugurate the Boston Herald’s web station in August.  Already, he’s out, no longer listed on the station’s website.

Execs at The Herald have not commented.  However, The Herald is introducing a new program to air Noon to 3pm.  “Trending Now’ hosted by Adriana Cohen and Joe Battenfield will feature talk about/with top newsmakers.

“Trending Now” will be parked between two other  Herald Radio shows “Morning Meeting” with Jaclyn Cashman and Hillary Chabot from 9 a.m. to noon and “Sports Town” with Jen Royle and Jon Meterparel from 3 to 6 p.m.

Herald columnist Michael Graham can be heard on Herald Radio from 6 to 9 p.m.

Katz hosted ‘Live From the Newsroom’ from 6a to 9a.  The morning drive news talk show led 12 hours of live broadcasting each weekday.
